KATE SPENCER MULVANEY
Engaging in various multimedia projects, Spencer delves into the notions of age, time and memory, exploring questions big and small, such as "how do we define the spirit of youth" and "how does my grandmother perceive the world?"
Her work focuses on elements such as shadows, color, and movement capturing the essence of youth, highlighted in The Eternal Youth collection. Through her photographs, she aspires to unite the young, the old, and the profoundly curious by offering authentic glimpses into one of the few things all people share: existing in time.
Based in NYC and the DC area, she works as a staff photographer for Washington Square News. Her experience ranges from photographing weddings, headshots, family portraits to graduation photos, BTS and fashion shows. Specific experience includes photographing the annual Gallatin Fashion Show and the Samsung 837 Show at New York Fashion Week.
